So what's been up with you? That's what I thought. How am I, you ask? Pretty good, I say. It's been a long time since we spoke so let's say we catch up.
Mostly I've been working a lot. Recently I've gotten hit with a lot of projects with end of the year deadlines. I'm on track and should have them all finished on time but it's sucking up a lot of free time. Unfortunately none of this will result in any kind of promotion or raise. At least not immediately. It will look good come review time though.
Starting in January I'll be pulling out the old school books and spending a lot of time studying for computer certificates. This will also help me get a decent raise next year.
The Clanlad recently had a birthday! He turned eight last week. His mother threw him a party at Chuck E. Cheese. The kids had fun, but damn, I hate that place. He made out pretty good in the present department too.
Then of course he had a small party with the immediate family on his actual birthday. He's still enjoying Cub Scouts. It's almost time for the Pinewood Derby. I'll be posting pictures once he's done with his car.
Celly and I went to Kimmie's holiday party last weekend. I'm not really a big party type of guy but I try to be social every so often. Lately I've been feeling kind of emotionally and psychologically rundown. I don't know if it's a seasonal thing or what. Mostly I sat around and watched everyone else.
Keltik's presentation to Shrew was amusing. Evidently he gave her a "Santa's Wishlist" the last day of MDRF. I can't remember what all was on the list but most of it seemed to be designed at keeping the Rogues off his wife.
That's about all the news that's fit to print. Here's wishing you and yours a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
