"I'm ENGAGED!"

Holy shit. Um, I mean "Yay me!". Heheheh...

In case you haven't heard by now, it's true. On Saturday I proposed to my love, Celly McFae (aka Karen), at the MDRF (She said "Yes" by the way. Heh. That makes her my fiancée!) in front of about 50 of our closest friends. I think at least half of them had cameras so there should be lots of pics coming. I'm still working on the pictures from my own camera. I know you're impatient and frankly so am I. What you may not know though is that this morning (Monday) I had a tooth pulled that had cracked and gotten infected last week. I took some where over 100 pictures this weekend so it's gonna take a bit of time.

I really want to take the time now to thank everyone for helping with my little plot. Yes, she suspected but not because anyone said anything, evidently she knows me too well now and knew that I was up to something. *sigh* I'm going to have to be sneakier with future plottings.

Thank you all for coming and sharing in our joy. Especially the 11 other Rogues (Andre, Mark the English Rogue, Josh, Jim aka Cronnacht, Dread Pirate Russell, Seamus, Lance, Angus, Chris, and my brothers John aka MrWhizzr and Raymond MacDobhran) who helped romance her.

Thank you Ani for being my "flower girl" -- for providing the flowers and taking them at the right moment -- and for all your advice. I love you.

Thank you Keltik for your support and for postponing a rather large Wenching so that I could have at least a few people show up for this. *g*

Thank you Marcy for taking the wonderful pictures that we will look back on for years to come.

Thank you to all the people who came out to witness. Local friends I have known for years. Friends who traveled great distances. Friends that I just met this weekend.

I should have a story and pictures ready in a couple days.

GOOSHINESS WARNING I just wanted to also take this chance to thank EVERYONE who made this proposal the most wonderful and perfect I could possibly imagine. Thanks to the lovely rogues who made me blush and made my knees weak. Each one of you were wonderfully roguish and surprisingly G-rated! *eg* Thanks to all of you who helped plan this. I know that Mr. the Clan Chief appreciates all you did as do I. Thanks to all of you who made an extra effort to be at MDRF for this event. I know that it wasn't easy for many of you and we really appreciate it. Thanks, also, to all of you who, with super-human effort, kept this secret so well. Yes, I suspected, but that was only because of what Gareth did and didn't say--not because anyone let anything slip. ;^) (Plus, I'm a VERY suspicious person... *g*) And thank you to those of you who helped get us together in the first place--whether you knew it or not: Kate Montgomery, Maeven, Ani, Sunni, and Dani (and probably many others). But, most of all, THANK YOU to my wonderful, romantic, marvelous, ad. infinitum fiance.(woohoo!! He's my fiance!!! *g*) You made the proposal an amazing and memorable experience.
